Flue gas desulphurization plants
GES occupies a prominent position in the domestic market. Having designed and constructed the insulation (flue gas ducts and piping) and cladding (Absorber building, gypsum conveyor belt) for the desulphurization plant of the SEPP in Megalopolis in 1999 and having designed the desulphurization plant of the SEPP in Meliti, Florina in 2002, our company has significantly contributed to improving environmental conditions in two regions with particularly increased pollution. Desulphurization plants decrease the emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO2) and at the same time motivate private individuals to install plants using gypsum as raw material, a by-product of the desulphurization process.
