Steam electric power plants
Based in Ptolemaida, the energy centre of Greece, and being involved in insulating both the local steam electric power stations as well as 14 European ones in the last 25 years, our company has a great deal of know-how and is one of the few companies in the European zone that have corresponding certification and recommendations.
It is worth noting that GES has successfully applied many innovations in insulating special parts of the steam electric power station, such as collectors and heaters, and never ceases to invest in designing new systems to achieve faster and more economical application.
Due to the great size of the insulation projects, which many times reaches 100,000 m2, our company, in order to achieve better task management, divides steam electric power plants into five subcategories at the tendering phase:
- Steam generators
- Hot Air Ducts
- Electrostatic precipitators
- High pressure piping
- Turbine houses
